Rachael Yaeger

Rachael Yaeger is a multi-talented New Yorker with the eye of a designer, the foresight of a brand strategist and the gumption of a serial entrepreneur. In addition to helming the creative studio Human NYC, she’s the co-founder of [reads], a curated monthly book delivery startup and Likeminds, an ideas-oriented weekend retreat in the Catskills that’s now in its third year—more on both below. She's also the brains behind The Working Pair, a popular site that features interviews with loved-up creative couples. Here, she shares her current digital obsessions.

AllTrails

“I like to get out of the city year round but in the summer I especially like to hike. We'll mainly go to the Adirondack region (where I am from) and use AllTrails. It locates nearby hikes and lets you sort based on distance and difficulty levels."

Good Finds

“For places to stay with friends in the Catskills, I use Good Finds, a site that describes itself as‘a super chill curation of places to escape the city.'"

HappyFeed

“I appreciate the sentiment behind HappyFeed, a daily gratitude app that reminds you to jot down three things that made you happy each day. I think the happiest people are the most grateful.”

[reads] Instagram

I am biased but I love the [reads] Instagram account. My co-founder Emma Stevenson and I have a lot of fun creating [reads] and I think that comes through in the spirit of the account. We love the curators and all of the different publishing houses we work with. “

Airpods

Apple's Airpods I thought were mega nerdy but I’ll recommend them for their string-tangle-freeness any day.”

The Reboot Podcast

“The Reboot Podcast is relevant to the tech/ creative industry I work in. I especially love this episode with Seth Godin who is a G.”

Likeminds

“Again, I’m biased but I’m obsessed with the Likeminds website—art direction by Sing-Sing. This year speakers include Eike Konig and Stanislava Pinchuk. Come!”
